RED is the vision of Academy Director, Peter Mackie. With over 30+ years of coaching experience, Peter and his technical staff have a mission to provide a professional alternative to learn, develop, and play soccer.
Founded in 2017, RED Academy of Soccer strives to be a leader in the community through professional coaching and mentorship. We are committed to the development of a successful athlete and individual. Coaches and staff prioritize individual technical development in a positive and inclusive environment.
RED Academy is a proud member of Ontario Soccer playing in the Southwest Soccer region. RED offers a variety of training and team opportunities for boys and girls aged 6+.
Mission
To offer the Waterloo Region and surrounding communities a professional alternative to learn, develop and play soccer. To deliver high level soccer training and instruction with the objective of guiding players to attain their maximum potential in the sport of soccer.
We believe that players develop when they are enjoying the game in a nurturing environment and are comfortable to make mistakes without criticism will develop best.
Philosophy
We will endeavour to be a player-centric training environment ranging from the beginner level through to the aspiring college, university or professional player. Our objective is to produce players with the skills, qualities and attributes required to succeed on the field, in the classroom and in life.
Our holistic approach will ensure the development of well balanced student-athletes with a priority on sport development, player wellness, and personal growth.
